How admission works at this level

Language programmes have the lightest documentation load and the shortest lead time. Many students use a year of language study to reach the HSK level a Chinese-taught degree or scholarship requires.

Entry requirements

  • Completed senior secondary school (or higher)
  • No prior Chinese required for beginner tracks
  • Aged 18 or above at enrolment

Mandatory document checklist

  • Passport valid at least 18 months
  • Highest education certificate and transcripts
  • Personal statement
  • Foreigner physical examination form
  • Non-criminal record certificate
  • Passport-style photograph on white background
  • Financial guarantee where requested
