Four Destinations
Where in the world will you study?
GSC guides students into China, the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. Each guide sets out tuition, intakes, scholarships, documents and visa steps — and links straight to the official sources so you always see the newest deadlines.
China
GSC's home ground — fully funded routes and English-taught degrees
China is the most scholarship-rich destination GSC works with. Government, provincial, university and Confucius Institute funding can cover tuition, accommodation, insurance and a monthly stipend, and hundreds of degrees are taught fully in English.
- Intakes
- September (main) and March (secondary)
- Tuition
- US$2,000 – US$6,000 a year self-funded; frequently waived on scholarship
United States
Research power, flexible majors and OPT work experience
The USA offers the widest choice of universities and the most flexible curriculum — you can change major after enrolling. Funding is strongest at Master's and PhD level through assistantships and departmental awards.
- Intakes
- Fall (August/September), Spring (January), some Summer starts
- Tuition
- US$20,000 – US$60,000 a year; community college routes are far cheaper
United Kingdom
One-year Master's degrees and a two-year Graduate Route
The UK compresses a Master's into twelve months, which keeps total cost down, and the Graduate Route lets you stay to work for two years after graduating (three after a PhD).
- Intakes
- September/October (main) and January (secondary)
- Tuition
- £12,000 – £30,000 a year for international students
Europe
Low or no tuition, English-taught degrees, Schengen mobility
Continental Europe is the value destination: public universities in Germany, Norway and parts of France charge little or no tuition, and thousands of Master's programmes are taught in English.
- Intakes
- Winter semester (September/October) and Summer semester (February/March)
- Tuition
- €0 – €5,000 a year at public universities; €8,000+ at private institutions
