Global Study Consult (GSC) is an international education consultancy that assists students with university admissions and scholarships in China and other study destinations. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it.

Identity and contact details: full name, gender, date of birth, nationality, country of residence, email address, phone and WhatsApp number.

Academic information: previous institution, qualification level, major, graduation year, grades, and preferred programme, university and intake.

Application documents: passport copies, academic transcripts and certificates, language certificates, medical/physical examination forms, police clearance, recommendation letters, study plans and CVs.

Consultation and payment records: booking details, the payment method used, the transaction reference returned by our payment processor, and payment proof you upload.

Technical records: IP address, browser user agent, and timestamps of sign-in and document access, kept for security auditing.

To prepare, review and submit your application to universities and scholarship bodies on your behalf.

To verify the authenticity and completeness of your documents as required by admission offices.

To communicate with you about your application status, requested documents, consultations and reminders.

To process consultation fees and keep accurate financial records.

To protect our platform against fraud, unauthorised access and misuse.

We share application data and documents only with the universities, scholarship councils and, where required, visa authorities relevant to the application you asked us to pursue.

Card payments are processed by a licensed payment provider. GSC never receives or stores your full card number, expiry date or CVV — those are entered directly on the provider's secure checkout.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not run advertising networks, ad trackers or data brokers on this website.

All traffic is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, with strict transport security enforced.

Documents are stored in private storage buckets that are never publicly listable. Files are served only through short-lived signed links issued after an ownership check.

Database access is governed by row-level security: students can only read and write their own records, and staff access is limited by role.

Every document view, status change and administrative action is written to an append-only audit log with the actor, time, IP address and device.

Uploads are screened for malware, disguised executables and files containing embedded scripts before they are accepted.

Administrator accounts can enable two-factor authentication, and sign-in history is retained for review.

Application records and documents are retained while your application is active and for up to five years afterwards, so we can support visa renewals, transfers and re-applications. Payment and consultation records are kept as long as required for financial and tax purposes. You may request earlier deletion where no legal or contractual obligation requires us to keep the record.

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, ask us to delete data we no longer need, or withdraw consent for future communications. You can delete individual uploaded documents from your student portal at any time before submission. Our services are intended for applicants aged 16 and above. Where an applicant is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent and supervise the application.

Because we place students in universities abroad, your data will be transferred to institutions and authorities outside your country of residence. We share only what the receiving institution requires for the admission or visa decision.
